10.26.01LIVE AT PIPELINE FEB 6TH

We will play a warm-up show before heading out for the European tour. Support will be the killer, local band Cynical Hatred. The show is arranged by Riot Club at Pipeline in Sundsvall.
Doors open at seven o'clock and the entrance fee is 80 kr.

09.10.10 Unleash Re-release

The extended version of My Own Grave's debut album "Unleash" will be bundled with the "Progression Through Deterioration 2004 Demo" and also with two extra cover songs ("Orthodox" from Krabathor and "War Ensemble" from Slayer). The re-mastering duties were handled by legendary multi-instrumentalist / engineering wizard Dan Swanö (Dissection, Marduk, Opeth, Bloodbath, etc) and on top of that, the artwork and layout for "Unleash" have also been altered and revamped, giving the re-issue version a brand new lease of life.
The album will be released in late January / early February 2010.

09.07.10 European Tour in February 2010

We will embark on a European Tour together with Demonical and Deathbound in February 2010. Cities and venues will be published November 2009.

09.20.09 Thanks for showing up!

Over 300 people showed up and banged their heads with us this last Friday at Club Deströyer!
We are very grateful and very proud of the Sundsvall audience!

09.07.09 Necrology release fest

The Necrology release fest will take place September 18th in Sundsvall at Aveny arranged by Club Deströyer. Support will be the always outrageous Hellmasker from Umeå, and we are happy to announce that Totalt Jävla Mörker will be playing as well!

Necrology will be released in late July / early August, and the street date is set to July 20th.

All the artwork for Necrology is complete and has been sent to Pulverised Records. The cover as well as a lot of additional artwork for the booklet was created by Jon Zig who has done awsome stuff for Suffocation in the past.

Justin St. Vincent of xtrememusic.org has finally finished his book project on the spiritual significance of music.

The metal edition of the book features many interviews on the theme with members from a variety of extreme bands, e.g. Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Samael, Enslaved, Faith No More,
The Berzerker, Gorgoroth, and many other including the interview with Anders of My Own Grave.

Right now we are finalizing the vocals; the last pieces for our upcoming album Necrology. Another thing that's been finalized is the tracklist for the album:

08.31.08 PRESS RELEASE: GORY DETAILS ON THE UPCOMING ALBUM

The upcoming album will be called "Necrology", an appropriate title since its main lyrical theme is death. Recording will commence September 1st 2008 and will take place at Studio Domsaga and Studio Blastbeat (Sundsvall). Mixing and mastering will be carried out at Unisound with producer Dan Swanö. The album will be released by Pulverised Records and distributed worldwide by Plastic Head. Year of release is 2009.

08.20.08 UPDATED TRACKLIST FOR UNLEASH RE-RELEASE

The re-release of Unleash is currently set to 2010. The album will be remastered by Dan Swanö during autumn 2008, and also feature several bonus tracks. First out is Krabathor's Orthodox, followed by Slayer's War Ensemble and finally the complete Progression Through Deterioration demo from 2004. Pulverised Records hold the exclusive rights to the release.

08.31.03 LIVE IN UMEÃ…, MAY 24TH

MY OWN GRAVE will play at Scharinska Villan (Umeå) on the 24th of May.
Support will be Daemonicus.

MY OWN GRAVE has been nominated in two categories for the upcoming Sundsvall Music Awards. One nomination is competing with The Kristet Utseende and Club Deströyer for the Jury's Special Award, and the other is a nomination by the people in the category "The People's Choice".

In the Soundcheck section of German Legacy Magazine #52 (where we are also featured with an interview), Unholy scored 9.67 which rendered 10th place out of a total 75 (sharing it with label mates In Aeternum).

07.15.10ONE MORE SHOW IN 2007

We will take a break from writing new material and do one last gig in 2007.
It'll take place at Club Deströyer (Red Rock) in Sundsvall on Saturday November 24th. Support will be 6th Awakening (Umeå) and Nidsang (Svl).
At this show we will try out some of the new material so expect at least three new songs!

We are proud to add another heap of praising reviews, this time with a sharp 8,5 of 10 from renonwned British Terrorizer Magazine in the top!

Among other added reviews are 9/10 in Nocturnal Hall Webzine, and 8/10 in both Metal Mayhem Webzine and Chronicles of Chaos, check 'em out here. The mean-value so far is 83% and considering that represents over 30 reviews; Brutal!

Unholy keeps getting killer reviews and scored its first 10 out of 10 last week in German Neckbreaker webzine (click the thumbnail to the left for English version). 07.21.02MY OWN GRAVE FORCED TO CANCEL SOLID METAL

It is with great regrets we are hereby forced to cancel the show on Friday at Solid Metal. It is the first time in our six years that we cancel a show but since two of the members (one of them the drummer) have high fever and influenza we see no other option. We appologize to the organizers and whoever was planning on coming to see us and hope that those people will still come and see us in Gothenburg in April instead.

06.19.12GOD AMONG INSECTS AND MY OWN GRAVE SWEDISH TOUR

We will team up with God Among Insects for a Swedish mini tour in March 2007. As of today only two cities are 100% confirmed but more dates will emerge in the near future.

As of today our new label is Pulverised Records from Singapore, who currently hold personal favorites such as Dissection, Satariel, Watain, and Nominon. The upcoming EP Unholy will be released by Pulverised with worldwide distribution through Plastic Head in early 2007.

Yes, as you can see we've changed our logo yet again but this time we promise it's for good. Why did we change it? Because we were sick of the old one in general and thought it did no longer capture the musical expression we now represent. The new logo will replace the old one on all new MOG-related stuff like the EP and merchandaise. It will also appear on the upcoming re-release of Unleash.

The Riotlab competition results are in and we extend congratulations to Christopher Thörnlund Johansson who wins a copy of Unleash and free entrance to the Release party on Saturday.

06.16.04ANGTORIA TAPS MY OWN GRAVE DRUMMER

Swedish/British orchestral/metal band Angtoria consisting of the Rehn brothers (Abyssos, Evergrey, Moahni Moahna) and Sarah Jezebel Deva (Cradle of filth, Therion) will borrow MY OWN GRAVE's John Henriksson to play the drums on the video shoot for "God has a plan for us all" which will be shot on two different locations in Sweden April 20-22th. Angtoria's debut album bearing the same name as the video song is due on Listenable Records on April 27th.
